Getting Creative at Pines

There's nothing like tapping into your creative side and here at Oasis Pines, ALL of our campers will get the chance to do so.  Our facilities will allow us to participate and develop theatrical plays, learn about and design sets for plays and shows,  and create works of art in our fine arts program.  We are also excited to get our dance moves on.  Our campers have access to several dance studios and plenty of indoor space to learn different kinds and styles of dance.

Camp is an Adventure

Sleepaway camp is all about friendships and experiences.  

Here at Oasis Pines, your child will get to experience nature and adventure at its best.  The campus of Smith College is an amazing place for a nature walk.  The trail is located on the perimeter of the lake and features spectacular views of the campus.  

We also offer an indoor rock climbing wall.  Rock climbing is supervised by 2 outdoor adventure leaders who are certified in all aspects to ensure safety.  

Additionally, we offer an indoor botanical garden, where our campers will learn about horticulture an participate in environmental  and planting programs. 

Swim and Boating at Oasis Pines

Got water? YES WE DO! Our campers will have the opportunity to swim in an indoor  Olympic size NCAA regulation pool.  Our pool is supervised by American Red Cross Certified Swim Instructors and Lifeguards, whom we hire as well as those provided by Smith College.  The pool features a low diving board, lap lanes, and goes to 13 feet deep.  All campers must and will be swim tested on their 1st day of camp.    Swim periods will include instruction as well as guided instruction through play and free choice swim.  All campers will swim everyday!

Here at Oasis Pines, we also offer boating to our campers.  Each camper will have the opportunity to kayak or canoe on our sparkling blue lake.  All campers must wear life jackets and will receive instruction from our certified staff before going boating.  This calming experience is a breathtaking one as each camper will get to experience the gorgeous campus of Smith College.

Sports at Oasis Pines!

 Oasis Pines is proud to offer a tremendous amount of sports that your child will have the chance to engage in.  We offer a multi acre outdoor athletic complex with turf soccer fields, clay baseball fields, football fields, and outdoor tennis courts.  Just minutes from the campus is a skate and basketball facility park.  Inside, our campers will have the opportunity to play tennis and run in our Indoor Track and Tennis facilities.  There are 2 NCAA size basketball gymnasiums where we can play basketball, or a variety of amazing and fun camp games.
There are also indoor racquetball and squash courts.  

Whatever  sports your child is passionate about, we offer it here at Oasis Pines!

Our dining facilities are incredible and we eat "family style" around round tables.   All meals are served buffet style and feature quality ingredients cooked by the Smith College kitchen staff.  No need to pack a lunch, as here at Oasis Pines, our campers will get to eat a wide variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a fruit and salad bar. As always, we ZERO IMPACT and keep the space clean!   We also honor any dietary needs or concerns...just let us know and we will accommodate you!

They say girls just wanna have fun...and that's exactly what our Oasis Pines girls will be having this summer.  And to help them rest, our girls will be living in the beautiful Morris House.  Inside this Victorian style dorm, our girls will sleep 2  to a room.  Our staff members and female leadership staff will be living in separate dorm rooms in Morris House.  

Morris House is a gorgeous facility with a girls lounge, and evening canteen.  The evening lounge has couches and a pool table for our campers to enjoy.  We are so excited for our girls to enjoy Morris House!

Welcome to Tyler House.  Tyler House is home to our boys dorm and to our dining hall.  Here at Tyler House, our boys will move in for their session and sleep 2 to a room.  Our staff members will be in the dorm as well in separate rooms.  The rooms have wooden floors, while the hallways are carpeted.  We have a cleaning service who will clean the bathrooms, and a laundry service to wash the boys clothes.

Our boys will have the opportunity to hang out during rest hour in their rooms and in the boys lounge.  The front of Tyler House features a huge porch, swing, and a lawn, perfect for some football, frisbee, or a baseball catch.
